Short answers about how RentCare works today.
Is a viewing free?
Standard viewings are always free. An assisted viewing, where a RentCare agent attends, is optional and its fee is shown before you pay. Online payment is not active yet, so assisted viewings cannot be paid for through RentCare today.
What do the verification labels mean?
Listing verified: RentCare compliance reviewed the property. Inspected: a RentCare agent physically visited it. Rent Control registered: the official registration was confirmed. A label appears only when that check exists.
Can I see a landlord's phone number?
No. You chat inside RentCare and phone numbers are not shared.
How do I rent a home?
Complete a viewing, apply from the listing, and if the landlord approves, they prepare the tenancy. You both accept the exact terms in the app and the rent schedule starts.
Is accepting terms in the app a legal signature?
It records that each party accepted a specific version of the terms, with the time. It is not presented as a qualified electronic signature. Ask a lawyer whether you also need a signed paper agreement.
How do I pay rent?
Online payment is not active yet. Pay your landlord directly. They record the payment in RentCare and you are notified.
Does RentCare issue Rent Control receipts?
No. Official registrations, numbers and receipts come from Rent Control Ghana.
Where do you keep my browsing history?
"Continue browsing" and recommendations use homes and searches remembered in your own browser. You can clear them by clearing site data. Saved homes are stored on your account.
